R!N / Gemie: Original "Call of Silence" Vocalist Live at Tsukicon 2026
Tsukicon is proud to welcome Japanese singer R!N, known to anime fans as Gemie, as the Featured Musical Guest of Tsukicon 2026 in Dayton, Ohio.
The voice behind the songs
Recording under the name Gemie, R!N is the original vocalist of "Call of Silence" and "YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T" from the Attack on Titan Season 2 original soundtrack, and one of the vocalists on "Barricades" from the same album. She sang "X.U.," the opening theme of Seraph of the End, and, together with Tielle, "gravityWall" and "sh0ut," the two opening themes of Re:CREATORS. All of these songs were composed by Hiroyuki Sawano.
Anime songs, performed by the singer who recorded them
In Japan, songs written for anime are known as anison (anime songs), a genre with its own history, artists and live concert culture. At Tsukicon, R!N will perform her anime songs live, giving Ohio fans the chance to hear this music from the artist whose voice is on the original recordings.

We regret to announce that R!N / Gemie will no longer be able to appear at Tsukicon 2026.
Artists from outside the U.S. need a work authorization approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services before they can perform here. As the U.S. petitioner, IZAKAYA (Tsukicon) filed and managed R!N’s P-3 petition on her behalf. Despite the efforts of both the artist and our team, the petition is still under review and a decision will not come in time for her scheduled performances on October 16 and 17.
R!N was fully committed to appearing at Tsukicon and completed all requested preparations and documentation promptly. This cancellation was not caused by any failure, delay, or decision to withdraw on R!N’s part.
In her place, a performance video from R!N’s 2026 world tour will be shown at the event.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to her performances, and we thank R!N for her professionalism and cooperation throughout this process.

このたび、R!N / GemieがTsukicon 2026に出演できなくなりましたことを、残念ながらお知らせいたします。
米国外からのアーティストがアメリカで公演を行うには、米国移民局（USCIS）による就労許可の承認が必要です。米国内の申請者として、IZAKAYA, LLCがR!Nに代わりP-3ビザの請願申請および管理を担当しました。アーティスト本人と主催者双方が対応を進めてまいりましたが、現在も審査が継続しており、10月16日・17日に予定されていた公演までに結果が出ない状況となりました。
R!NはTsukiconへの出演を強く希望しており、必要な準備や書類提出をすべて迅速に完了していました。今回の出演キャンセルは、R!N自身の不履行、対応の遅延、または本人による出演辞退が原因ではありません。
当日は、R!Nの2026年ワールドツアーの映像を使用したパフォーマンス動画を会場で上映する予定です。
出演を楽しみにしてくださっていた皆さまに、心よりお詫び申し上げます。また、今回の手続きを通じて誠実かつ全面的に協力してくださったR!Nに感謝いたします。
