On October 17, they play Kyosai at Tsukicon 2026. The Vocaloid years Creep-P's first following came from Vocaloid. DV-i

DV-i

Rhythmic-Variable Waveform Composite Solutions. That's how DV-i describes her own work, and it tells you most of what you need to know. The New York producer and visual artist makes fast, lush, futuristic electronic music that sounds like the best video game you never got to play. She performs at Kyosai at Tsukicon 2026. The sound DV-i builds her tracks with a mix of vintage hardware synth modules and modern software, layering thick pads over quick, intricate breakbeats. The result sits between hardcore breaks and atmospheric drum and bass, with the glossy optimism of a turn-of-the-millennium game soundtrack. You may have danced to her already DV-i's track "Environ [De-SYNC]," featuring lythe, is a Konami original in Dance Dance Revolution, where it has stayed in rotation from DDR A3 through DDR WORLD. She also composed music and designed the sound for CROSSNIQ+, the Y2K-styled puzzle game, and has remixed Anamanaguchi. Released in Japan, made in New York Two of DV-i's best-known EPs, Research + Development and implementation, came out on Maltine Records, one of Japan's most influential internet labels. Kotori

Kotori

Heavy bass with an anime heart. Kotori is a Japanese-American bass music producer from Washington State who makes dubstep that hits hard and still sounds like the opening of your favorite show. They perform at Kyosai at Tsukicon 2026. Skrillex, Porter Robinson, and a lot of anime Kotori started producing at 13 after watching videos of Skrillex and Porter Robinson, and the influence of both is easy to hear: heavy, aggressive drops paired with bright melodies and chopped vocal hooks. The anime side is right there in the track titles. "Nanamori" takes its name from the school in YuruYuri, and "Yousoro" from a Love Live! Sunshine!!catchphrase. The breakout "Nanamori" and "Waterfall" put Kotori on the map in 2017, followed by the Yandere EP. Official remixes came next: SVDDEN DEATH and AFK's "BZZRK" for Bassrush Records, and JVNA's "Living In Hell" for Proximity. In late 2025, Kotori released a remix of Skrillex and ISOxo's "Fuze." Built for this crowd Kotori is a regular at anime convention shows and afterparties, so the set is made for people who know both the drop and the reference. Expect dubstep, drumstep, and melodic bass, loud. See Kotori at Kyosai When: Saturday, October 17, 2026 (Kyosai begins at 4:00 PM; set time to be announced)Where: Levitt Pavilion, across the street from the Dayton Convention Center

onumi

onumi

Unpredictable. Unapologetic. Undeniably human. onumi is a human soul trapped inside an android body, and her humanity refuses to disappear. It leaks out in ways that can't be controlled. She is allowed to exist under one condition: prove, every day, that she is still human. The proof Music and visual art are how she does it. onumi's work digs into the grunge, the dirt, and the harsh reality of being alive, and still holds room for the purity, beauty, and innocence that make life worth it. Nothing gets cleaned up first. The sound Metal, old-school EDM, and modern bass music, fused together and played with real aggression. onumi's tracks are dark, gritty, and confrontational, and they don't stick to the time signatures or rhythms you expect. If a drop goes where you thought it would, it's probably someone else's set. The catalog onumi has more than 50 releases to her name since 2020 and makes much of her own artwork. Her collaborators include the Russian electronic duo IC3PEAK, Cynthoni, with whom she released the SKVLLCRVSH EP in June 2026, and Creep-P, who shares the Kyosai bill with her at Tsukicon. See onumi at Kyosai When: Saturday, October 17, 2026 (Kyosai begins at 4:00 PM; set time to be announced)Where: Levitt Pavilion, across the street from the Dayton Convention Center

Tre Watson's Jammingway

Tre Watson's Jammingway

A fandom-fueled mosh pit. Tre Watson writes music for the games you play, and then plays it loud. The Baltimore composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist brings their live band, Tre Watson's Jammingway, to the Theatre at Tsukicon 2026 on Friday for a set of heavy, hook-driven music built on anime and video games. From the studio to the stage Tre's credits run deep in gaming. They are part of the composing team for 2XKO, Riot Games' fighting game, and a member of Pentakill, Riot's metal band from the League of Legends universe, performing as its guitarist at the 2021 LCS Summer Finals. They sang in the "Hell Choir" on Mick Gordon's Doom Eternal soundtrack and have created music with Wizards of the Coast. Anime fans may know the voice already: in 2025, Tre sang lead on Naruto: The Symphonic Experience, performing nightly across a 63-show tour of the United States and Canada. The sound Jammingway blends progressive metal, hip-hop, and rock, pulling from the color of anime, the anthems of video game soundtracks, and the emotional weight of fantasy. The songs are fandom through and through: "One Percent" was written from the feeling of watching Kaiju No. 8. Expect big choruses and a groove that hits hard. Final Fantasy XIV players will recognize the name, and the bunny ears on the logo. A band built for conventions Jammingway debuted in 2026 and went straight to the convention circuit, playing Otakon's Summer Stage in Washington, DC, and Anime Festival Orlando in their first year. Before that, Tre led FANDOM FIGHT with Brandon Yates on the MAGFest Main Stage and built a following on YouTube with metal and rock covers of anime, game, and pop culture songs. Wadaiko Gouken

Wadaiko Gouken

Japanese taiko drumming, from right here in Southwest Ohio. You feel taiko before you hear it. Wadaiko Gouken is a Japanese drum troupe based in the Cincinnati and Dayton area, and they practice, perform, and teach the art of Japanese drumming: wadaiko as it's called in Japan, taiko as most of the West knows it. They open Tsukicon 2026 twice: first at the Opening Ceremony on Friday at noon, then again on Saturday afternoon to kick off Kyosai at Levitt Pavilion. Trained in Nara, rooted in Ohio Wadaiko Gouken was founded by Eddie Yates, a Cincinnati native who trained and performed in Japan under sensei Daigoro Aska, leader of the Aska Gumi drum troupe in Nara. Aska Gumi is regarded as one of the top taiko troupes in the world, and Eddie was the only Westerner accepted to train and perform with them. After his years in Japan, Eddie came home to teach, build a performing group, and give taiko a permanent place in the community. With more than 25 years of performing behind him, he formed Wadaiko Gouken to do exactly that. What is taiko? Taiko is ensemble drumming played on large Japanese drums with wooden sticks called bachi. It is as much movement as music: players strike with their whole bodies, in tight formation, and the biggest drums are loud enough to shake a room. If you've never seen it live, this is the performance to plan your day around. A regional favorite Wadaiko Gouken performs at Japanese cultural festivals and community events across Ohio and Kentucky, including the Japan/America Society of Kentucky's 2026 Japan Festival in Frankfort. They also teach: the troupe runs beginner taiko classes, workshops, and private lessons out of Giyu Dojo in Centerville, just south of Dayton.
