Ohayo Sumo Dayton was established in 2021 with the mission of spreading the sport of sumo in the Midwest.
We value a supportive club culture that encourages each members' growth, well-being and safety. We invest our resources into having consistent practices where sumo-curious people can dependably reach us. We do our best to stay accessible to our current and any new members. We also help to educate the local community with sumo demonstrations at various cultural events in Ohio. We are a registered club with the United States Sumo Federation, which is a 501(c)(3) non profit dedicated to growing amateur sumo nationwide. The USSF is a proud member of the International Sumo Federation (IFS).
