When the sun sets on Saturday night at Tsukicon...
KYOSAI, our signature nighttime experience, an open-air music and performance event held at Levitt Pavilion. Combining EDM, anime rave culture, and otaku aesthetics in a way that could only exist at Tsukicon. Brought to you by the ISEKAIYA team, you know this will not be an event to miss. Much like the moon-viewing festivals that inspire the name Tsukicon, KYOSAI is about gathering. It’s about music that makes you move, visuals that pull you in, and an atmosphere charged with creativity and energy. This is not your typical anime convention rave. It’s an essential part of the Tsukicon experience.

What is KYOSAI?
KYOSAI (響祭) means “resonance + festival” in Japanese, and we take that to heart. As the convention winds down for the day, KYOSAI takes over with a curated lineup of EDM and dance music artists with sets themed around anime, video games, J-pop, and internet culture. Levitt Pavilion serves as the venue... An outdoor stage surrounded by green space and city lights, located just across the street from the Dayton Convention Center.
Here's what to expect:
- Live DJ performances with otaku-themed EDM and dance tracks
- Cosplay dance energy and rave wear encouraged
- Open-air atmosphere with full sound and lighting
- Food, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages available on site
- Outdoor visuals, vibes, and community
The Itasha Showcase
Sponsored by Senpai Squad × Bimyou Workshop
Alongside the KYOSAI action, we’ll be presenting our Itasha Showcase. A curated lineup of fully wrapped anime-themed cars from across Ohio and beyond. If you’ve never seen a row of glowing, color-drenched, character-wrapped cars under city lights, you’re in for a core memory.
This year’s showcase is sponsored by Senpai Squad and Bimyou Workshop, two names synonymous with anime lifestyle and Itasha culture. They’ll be giving away free merch at the showcase and maybe even more at KYOSAI itself. Of course, no Itasha display would be complete without ISEKAIYA participating in the giveaways and on-site merch. ISEKAIYA will be working with both Senpai Squad and Bimyou Workshop to deliver any merch sales, if available.
We’ll be awarding a handful of prizes, including:
- Best in Show will receive a FREE full custom Itasha wrap design from StyleUP Studio (installation not included)
- Additional awards for crowd favorite, detail work, and thematic execution.
Whether you’re showcasing or spectating, this is a celebration of creativity on wheels.

Why KYOSAI Matters
When we dreamed up Tsukicon, we asked ourselves: What kind of convention does Ohio actually need? What if it felt more like a cultural gathering... a creative collision of music, art, fandom, and expression?
KYOSAI is our answer to that question. It’s where we let the energy spill out of the convention hall and into the streets. It’s where the Itasha community, the rave community, the cosplay community, and the anime scene intersect. And it's part of what makes Tsukicon different from anything else in the region.
We’re building something that doesn’t just follow con culture, it expands it.
KYOSAI is the soul of that expansion.
